Every compliance discipline your buildings need.
One partner who coordinates all of it.

Some of PTSG’s most important work never leaves a factory floor. IDSL and HD Sharman’s joined the Group as two of the country’s most capable manufacturers in their respective fields, and they brought something rare with them: the ability to design and make the products PTSG installs, rather than waiting on someone else’s production schedule.

IDSL Integrated Doorsets Fire Door Inspection Solutions Hartland Fire Fire Doors Rite HD Sharman’s.

IDSL Group brings together four specialist businesses (Integrated Doorsets, Fire Door Inspection Solutions, Hartland Fire and Fire Doors Rite) under one roof, covering fire door inspection, testing, certification, evidence-based remediation and lifecycle compliance, backed by in-house manufacturing capability.

HD Sharman’s has been engineering commercial roofing and rainwater solutions since 1970. Two of its systems, Plygene Gutterline and Delcote Seamsil, are proprietary products of its own design, manufactured to extend the life of a roof rather than simply replace it.

Together, from roofs to doors, they give PTSG something most compliance providers can’t offer: control over the product, not just the installation.

In-House Manufacturing

Fire door components and proprietary roofing systems, designed and made without a third party standing between specification and delivery

The Challenge

Passive fire protection and roofing asset management both depend on a supply chain most clients never see, and rarely control. A fire door remediation programme can stall for weeks waiting on a replacement component from a third-party manufacturer. A roofing system that’s out of production leaves a duty holder patching a problem rather than solving it.

The regulatory pressure has only increased. The Building Safety Act has made passive fire protection inspection-led, data-led and compliance-driven, which means the products behind it need to be available when the programme needs them, not when a supplier gets round to it.

The Solution

PTSG’s manufacturing capability closes that gap. IDSL brings in-house fire door manufacturing directly into a passive fire compliance programme that already covers inspection, testing, certification and remediation, so a failed door doesn’t mean a stalled programme.

HD Sharman’s Plygene Gutterline and Delcote Seamsil are engineered and made by the same business that specifies and installs them, giving clients repair and refurbishment systems designed around extending an asset’s life, not just replacing it.

Made by us. Installed by us.

PTSG doesn’t hand its products to someone else to fit. The doorsets made by IDSL and the roofing and gutter systems made by HD Sharman’s are installed by engineers from the same group.

Installation goes well beyond them, too. Across the group we design, install and commission:

  • sprinkler systems to BS EN 12845 for commercial buildings and BS 9251 for residential
  • dry and wet risers, fabricated on site and pressure tested to BS 9990
  • lightning and surge protection
  • fall arrest, fall restraint and façade access systems for safe work at height

The product, the install and the maintenance after it all come from one business. You have one partner accountable from the first drawing to the last inspection.

The PTSG difference:

01

People: Manufacturing and installation under one roof, not handed between a factory and a subcontractor

02

Technology: Proprietary systems, Plygene Gutterline and Delcote Seamsil, designed by the team that installs them

03

Service: In-house production reduces the lead times that come from relying on thirdparty supply chains

04

Growth: As passive fire and roofing compliance obligations increase, manufacturing capability is what keeps a programme moving instead of waiting

Why Leading Organisations Choose PTSG

We’ve built manufacturing into a compliance business. The fire doors and roofing systems your buildings depend on are made, fitted and maintained by one group, not bought in from a supply chain you can’t see.

HD Sharman’s has engineered roofing and rainwater systems since 1970. IDSL brings fire door manufacture, inspection, certification and remediation under one roof. Behind both is PTSG, with more than 90,000 clients, over 400,000 buildings and an 88% renewal rate.

No stalled programme. No third-party lead times. No gap between what was specified and what was fitted. Just products made to specification, installed by the people who made them, and a building that stays compliant.
